Peanut Butter Milk Stout by Belching Beaver Brewery is a 5.3% ABV Milk/Sweet Stout brewed with peanut butter flavors

Label:
It’s All about the Beaver

Belching Beaver Brewery’s Peanut Butter Milk Stout. Feel Free to use it for Ice Cream floats. We made this beer for fun, and it has become a local favorite. So we thought, may as well bottle some. This beer says, even hard working Beavers can play around once in a while. We hope you love it too. If you do, let us know on Facebook if you don’t, call Troy directly and tell him. His head is getting just a little too big around the brew pad anyway.

This beer is refreshingly smooth. Tastes if roasted coffee, chocolate and peanut butter. Brewed with rolled pats and lactose, this beer has a silky smooth mouth feel finish. Don’t let the color fool you; this dark beer is easy drinking

Cheers,

Tom

As requested by my friend Oscar, I had to bring this one forth to the site. There have been very few peanut butter beers except for the awesome cocoa crispies tasting peanut butter cup porter from Karl Strauss or the the liquid bliss from Terrapin that I conciser awesome. I figure that getting this one is a good opportunity to bring forth another rare piece of craft brew recipe forward. Thanks for the beers Oscar 😀

Aromas:
Damn good peanut butter Reese’s butter cup aromas, dark chocolate, Milk chocolate, vanilla, peanut brittle, rye bread, mocha coffee, nutter butter peanut butter cookies, milk sugar, caramel, toffee and mild earthy notes

Flavors:
Lots of roasted peanuts with shells, peanut butter, nutter butter cookies, toffee, roasted coffee, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, earthy hops, Reese’s peanut butter puffs cereal, buttered rye toast notes, lactose milk sugar, and molasses

Aftertaste:
Peanut butter, rye hints, earthy hops and coffee notes linger. Nice a smooth, easy drinking and no alcohol in the taste.

Overall:
Great beer! Even if only 5.3% ABV, it set to what is supposed to do, taste like peanut butter and coffee bitterness for balance. Despite the fact that it says natural flavors or Ethyl alcohol (which created upon fermentation), do not believe the the artificiality. There is nothing artificial about this beer. It is craft brewed to perfection, set out to what it was intended, and that is rich dark roasty peanut butter and chocolate coffee flavors. Highly recommended. This one really is closer to peanut butter than the other other beers I have tried.

Anime Corner:
Makoto Nanaya from Blazblue was paired perfectly with this beer because not only did I want to show the label colors, but she is a nutty girl. She may not be a beaver, but she is a squirrel and squirrels love nuts. You can see how she tears up pine cones like she tears up nuts. Either way, with the rich flavors of peanut butter that are given from this beer, I couldn’t think of any other awesome characters to pair this beer with.

  1. Hi, I was wondering if peanuts were used in the proces to create the peanut flavor. I’m allergic but I woud love to try this beer!! And since there’s no coffee in all the “espresso” beers I really hope I can drink this!!
