La Roja Artisan Amber Ale by Jolly Pumpkin is an artisan amber brewed in the Flanders tradition. It a Wild Red Ale at 7.2%ABV. This is the second time I get a chance to try this beer. Also the second JP I have tried since I first started drinking some of the JP beers. Sour but full of fruits that find their way into the taste buds like flavors of vanilla, cherry, peach, grape, plums, pears and apples. It leaves the after taste of lemon and grape fruit. I get this Three Philosophers feeling in the back of my throat. Although Three Philosophers is actually more bread and sweeter cherry.Yes that is puss n boots in the label. Crazy cat. The official beer of the Puss n Boots..Or at least it should be :P..lmao
