My friend brought this beer over to a taste session and seeing as I had not tried the latest Stone Anniversary brew, I wanted to bring this one to the site. While trying to gather as much information as I could, I decided to bring out my Astaroth statue from Shinra Banshou for this pairing as I have paired her with many of the Stone beers in the past but this was the first time I have paired her in non picture form. The brew itself was really nicely hoppy with a malty backbone and lots of berry flavors. While the tropics are not over abundant, the beer had some in there for some nice complexity. It was definitely worth try and thanks to my friend Oscar for sharing this with me.
