Bashah 2009 Highland Park & Black Raspberry Reserve the Collaborative minds of Stone and BrewDog bring forth an 8.7%ABV Black IPA aged with Scottish Black Raspberries in Highland Park Whiskey Barrels. It has been 3 years of aging and it is just right for the review. The ABV I am sure has gone higher to newer heights. The Bashah itself already didn’t make any sense, now they aged it to the 10th dimension of flavor and understanding to the power of comprehension root bliss imaginary quantum. One of the things that I noticed may have matured about this beer is the cherry chocolate and coffee. It sorta has some flavors of cherry chocolate Dr pepper or coke with vanilla ice cream. However, this is beer, and ofcourse has way more flavors. Whiskey is there in the aftertaste along with vanilla, caramel, earthy and grassy pine hops, cherries, raisins, peppers. This would kick as a beer float or even by itself. IPA?? yeah right….never…Stout?? Maybe…but no cigar….Amber??…STFU!!!…Beer Unknown? …sounds about right >.>…Oh yeah and before I forget…good luck finding this this little bastard…you won’t…unless you are lucky…..-.-
