==Introduction==

Got this one from my friend Aaron Mendiola at BeerMetalDude.com. Spiteful brewing has been really hitting homeruns so far with me. After having their Working for the Weekend brew and the awesome label art, I was hooked. Even some of their other brews and art are very appealing and awesome! Hilarious even. Like the Selfie beer that shows a dude punching himself in the nuts for even considering taking a Selfie. Now that’s artwork and storytelling! With that being said, let’s see why so much spite for the pigeons, let’s see, cheers!

Aromas:
Roasty malts, smokey notes, dark chocolate, dark fruit currants, cherries, raisin notes, smokey notes, soy sauce hints, vanilla, caramel, toffee, earthy hops, molasses, mint, anise and coffee cake hints.

Flavors:
Citrus, piney, grapefruit hinted and earthy hops, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, bakers chocolate, mango hints, smokey notes, soy sauce hints, plum sauce, dark fruit currants, cherries, raisin notes, molasses, mint, anise, coffee cake hints, vanilla, caramel and toffee.

Aftertaste:
Finishes with dark chocolate, roasted malt notes, earthy hops and dark fruit notes. No alcohol in the taste. Dark full body, smooth, creamy and rich mouthfeel with a moderate drinkability.

Overall:
A very good porter for being so spiteful towards pigeons. As long as the porter doesn’t have pigeon poop since they spite humans back. It doesn’t of course. Being so rich, chocolate and creamy, this a definite must try. For being the second brew I have from Spiteful brewing, I definitely would love to have more if I ever get the opportunity but definitely get this is you are a Chicago local.

Anime Corner:
Original character was used in this paring as I wanted to get a character that would pair with the black and white parts of the artwork. The colors of the eyes work well with the dark fruit presence of the brew. The beer at hand just means that while she smiles back, it either means she wants you or she is secretly plotting against you. You don’t really know with this brew lol.
