Le Petite Prince Farmhouse Table Beer at 2.9% by Jester King of Austin is a Farmhouse Saison that was traded to me by founder of http://www.youstayhoppyaustin.com/ and a good college friend of mine. Thank you Matt for this awesome ale sir. This beer, aside from non-alcoholic or low ABV beers like …ummm well …bud light :S …is the lowest yet most delicious beer I have ever had at the lowest of alcohol levels. Forget it.. No Miller/Coors/ AB or even Coronas and Heinekens can stand to this ale in terms of REAL Delicious flavors at the lowest and maybe even dietary levels of servings. Crisp taste and very refreshing saison. Great things do come in small packages. Who knew one could go to the opposite side of the beer spectrum and find some good flavor :P. This beer has flavors of light biscuit bread, pilsner (which is common in some lagers), light banana, light lemon citrus, light honey, faint apple and peach, possibly some cinnamon spice. Truly something one would toast to at a fancy party. Craft Beer beginners or even those that may not like the taste of a regular light lager…do not be afraid to try one. Austin got it right with this masterpiece.
