I kept over looking and wanting to try this beer for so long. When I finally got around to it, I was very impressed. This beer does not disappoint. A very complex amount of flavors. The story on this is very cool too.

Revisit:
Trois Pistole by Unibroue is an amazing beer. I had to go back and try it. One of my favorites :P. This beer is full of so much flavor. You have Belgian yeast, dark fruits such as cherries, raisins, and figs. Some chocolate minor notes, caramel . Simply put flavor is king. Mask is so well put the alcohol is not even there. A Belgian strong quad ale worthy of the name Trappist if it may. also some slight port wine is sensed in this however, they do recommended aging it as it will develop into some strong port and chocolate flavors after several years…. favorite of mine indeed ๐Ÿ˜›

This brew is aged on lees which is sort of the residue left after fermenting a beer in yeast from so it gives it its complex and delicious flavors. Truly the best in the world right next to St. Bernardus, thank god for this beer ๐Ÿ˜›
