This is Mothership Wit by New Belgium. A Belgian witbier with low ABV at 4.8% yet full of nice flavors. I cannot compare it to the St. Bernardus wit but I will say it is lighter and has other ranges of fruity flavors. Made with Belgian Wit Yeast, wheat and barley malts. Some kind of peach, mango, biscuit bread and apple flavor seem to dominate this beer with residual banana clove and orange lime zest with coriander spice. It also has this honey flavor that reminds me of a lighter Bieken Honey ale. Good and affordable beer to find. I know I can’t always find the Lost Abbey’s Witch’s Wit or the St Bernardus Wit but I would actually get this again if I can find it. The awesome and sad thing about nice beers is that you can’t always find them because the Conglomerates of Bud/Miller/Coors always taking the mass amount of market share. I mean seriously, would you like your beer to be made with “fusel” alcohol or something organic like this?? Yes, this is also my third organic beer I have ever tried where Raven’s Eye and Acai Berry beers were my others. LOL probably alot of people would like to know what goes into making their chemical beers, but this one is straight to the point and delicious. Don’t let anyone tell you what to drink, decide for yourself what the best stuff on earth is >:(…The mothership of beers would want it that way…
