Crispin’s Natural Hard Apple Cider Artisanal Reserve Lansdowne

ImageFound this one down the street in a mini mart that recently opened last week. In fact it was in the same location on the street where I grew up, Tweedy Blvd. and State street. I don’t write about ciders…lol but this one…damn sure caught my attention. This is the Crispin’s Natural Hard Apple Cider Artisanal Reserve Lansdowne that is brewed with magic. This I mean it is made with 100% natural apple that is fresh pressed, Irish Stout Yeast and Organic Molasses. What can I say, complex and sweet. Like an apple butter scotch pie. This is due to the sweetness of the molasses and the bready flavor of the yeast, but we also get minor hint of caramel. The after taste leaves off buttery making you want to drink some more. At 6.9% alcohol its not a simple walk in the park but you will get blasted with such flavor. Definitely a dessert drink that may pair well with cheese and crackers I am sure. If you see these give it a try. It definitely brings the goodness of what goes into a bready Belgian ale but in cider form
