As part of this delicious Saturday Morning Cartoons series breakfast, this brew is based on the Spooky Boo Berry cereal. This is the second time I try a beer in their Saturday Morning Cartoon breakfast cereal series. The first one being the damn awesome Fruity Pebbles inspired one. They make many others but this one is one I had to find for the season. Yes it is Christmas time but it is never too late to celebrate Halloween. Especially since it was also done with The Nightmare Before Christmas. Blueberries are awesome and just the fact that this one brought me back to the times when they release the special Halloween cereals once a year, I had to get it. Just like the young be buying a box of Boo Berries, well, my parents did. There is a Count Chocula cereal beer made by another brewery but I have yet to find it. I wonder if they make Franken Berries too. Anyways, let’s take a dive into this one, cheers!

Roasted coffee, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, dark fruit blueberries, raisins, prunes, currants, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, pecan pie, hazelnut nectar, fruit cake, crème brulee, Irish cream, Oreo cookies and cream, brown sugar, caramel and vanilla.

Overall:
An exceptional brew. Not because of its special aging but because it got it damn right. This is literally going back to the your waking up during Halloween Saturday mornings and eating some Boo Berries while watching the Halloween cartoon specials on TV. I have had many delicious blueberry stouts and I can say that those are similar to this one or even better but in this case, the appreciation to the blueberry cereal taste is what really drives this one home for sure. I highly recommend you get this one for nostalgia purposes.

Anime Corner:
Hex Maniac from the Pokemon series is a trainer that is mainly into the occult. I chose her be cause she pairs very well with the colors, flavors, ingredients and the theme of the beer. The Scary Boo Berries. Also the fact that Pokemon is a Saturday morning cartoon from my youth and into today, it counts with the Saturday morning cartoon series. Also, the little ghost cereal pieces that look like the Pacman ghosts go well with the ghosties in the pictures too!
