Papay-Ale by El Borracho brewing is a 4.4% ABV Cream Ale brewed with Papaya

==Introduction==

Thanks to my friend William Carranza of El Borracho brewing for hooking me up with one of his latest homebrews, a Cream Ale with Papaya. This brew was made using lots of papaya. He advised the inspiration for this beer was to use fruits which he had done with other beers. This time, with using a papaya. Let’s see how this one goes, cheers!

Aromas:
Tropical fruit forward from the papaya, honey dew melon, pineapple, guava notes, cane sugar, biscuit bread, caramel, lychee, stone fruit, grapefruit and grassy hop notes.

Flavors:
Lots of Papaya, mango, Kiwi, honey dew melon, guava hints, vanilla notes, cane sugar, grapefruit, grassy and citrus hops, stone fruit peach, apricot, pineapple hints, lychee, watermelon, tangerines, cherry notes, tropical fruit punch hints, biscuit bread and caramel notes.

Aftertaste:
Finishes with cane sugar, papaya and grapefruit hop notes with some lingering tropical fruit and stone fruit. No alcohol in the taste, crisp, clean and refreshing mouthfeel and easy to drink.

Overall:
A very delicious beer. It’s crazy to think how perfect papaya works with the cream ale style and how crazy refreshing it is. Lots of complexity while still being very balanced and flavorful. Definitely one of the better beers made by my friend Will.

Anime Corner:
This original character was used in this pairing as I wanted to show case the papaya in the picture. Sure, the girl has nice melons, but that’s beside the point. Anyways, this was about the only good pic I could find that had a papaya in it.
