Zombie Dust By Three Floyds is a 6.4% ABV American Pale Ale. According to many reviews and websites, the best American pale ale in the world. Upon opening this beer it was definitely a sure thing. A pale ale trying to be at the level of a Double IPA but without the mass amounts of alcohol. Meaning, it is easier to drink and it is sweeter than bitter IPA and well this is quite important because obtaining the flavors of this beer would seem to take a level of Double IPA brewing…but it is not that heavy. Amazing….
Label:
This intensely hopped and gushing undead pale ale will be one’s only respite after the zombie apocalypse. Created with our marvelous friends in the comic industry. Art by Tim Seeley. Opening this I really thought it was a Double IPA. Most Double IPAs are generally caramel, very tropic sweet and hoppy. Ofcourse with a good amount of alcohol and possibly more bitter. This beer consist of much sweeter flavors such as caramel, pineapple, mango, peaches, pears and oranges while still maintaining the grassy hops and alittle bit of pine. It still has notes of lemon and grapefruit but not to the level of IPAs. For people that do not like IPAs, this would probably be a great alternative that is definitely not so bitter. The awesomeness of a DIPA but without the massive bitters and alcohol. This beer is what many close to lager like beers should be. Great amount of flavor, less alcohol and over all delicious and refreshing. Pale Ale fans or hell, IPA and DIPA fans should go grab this. Its very good.
