Shallow Grave by Heretic is a 7% ABV American Porter. This beer is silky and smooth. Best part is it hardly has a lot of smoke or bitterness to it.

Shallow Grave Porter is dark as night, perfect for a cool evening out in the woods. This a big, dark ale with a complex and rich chocolate and caramel malt character followed by a touch of warmth and light malt sweetness, leaving you ready for more after each shovelful. You will love this so much you won’t have time to dig a six-footer, so make it a Shallow Grave. We’re sure you’ll dig it.
Flavors of coffee and dark chocolate with some caramel sweetness and possibly vanilla. Has a minor chocolate chip cookie dough sweetness. I’m pretty impressed with this one. First had it at my friend Oscar’s birthday party when we did a beer run. Surprising enough, some 7-11s are carrying more craft beer now a days. This is awesome because more people should “dig up” some treasures of their own. If you like sweeter porters then this is very good. Give it a try … somewhat easy to drink and flows well :P.
