As stated before. There is some good amount of hops but it is mainly covered by a stronger malt presence. This means you do not get as much as the piney, tropical, bitter grapefruit and grassy flavors as you would with a normal IPA. You only get them but they are cover up by the caramel, biscuit, vanilla, butterscotch like flavors of the malts. There are some citrus, lemon and orange peel flavor here. There are some rubbery aftertaste to it that is kinda weird :/. It is really really more of an amber ale trying to be an IPA but just doesn’t make it far. While it doesn’t fit the style of an IPA I would only recommend to those that like amber lagers. This is kinda bitter sweet. Then again I would recommend Fat Tire better to those who like ambers. This is good but kinda iffy to find some one in the amber/IPA midpoint really
