Black Phoenix by Bootlegger’s Brewing is a 6.70% ABV Stout brewed with coffee beans and Chipotle peppers. This beer while being a stout, is very drinkable. It is not as spicy as the Stone Porte with chipotle. The flavors of coffee, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, raisins, chipotle chile and other spices flow but they are not as flavor intense as the other one. Making this beer more drinkable. Also some of the heat comes in at the after taste but only slight :P. While the Stone one does have more to offer, this one is easier to find and more drinkable than other stouts. The Chipotle gives it an extra sense of flavors for sure 😛
