Coconut Porter by Maui Brewing is 6% ABV Porter made with hand-toasted coconut. Been meaning to pickup a can for a while to see what this little beer could offer. The beer is pretty good. Delicious roasted coffee beans, mocha, dark chocolate and vanilla crème with a smokey and coconut after taste. The beer is sweet enough to make a good dessert or pair well with a dessert. LOL I like their quote “…Like Hot Chicks on the Beach” Well I guess you can say that :P. It does have its prolonged sweetness and minor bitterness. It is also a creamy and almost velvety. Fairly easy find at Bevmo or any special beer shop. At a 6% ABV, this beer is pretty rich in flavor.
