Smoked Porter with Vanilla Beans by Stone brewing is a 5.9% ABV Vanilla Porter. This is the first time Stone bottles one of their classic brewery only on tap beers. First released in 2006 like the chipotle porter. This one is made with Madagascar Vanilla Beans. The combination of strong vanilla, dark chocolate, alittle bit of caramel coffee and bitter smokey notes makes this a very good dessert beer. Not too sweet not to bitter thought. With Ice cream I am sure it would be simply beyond measure. This is still a smokey after taste type of beer so those that enjoy sweet but may not like bitter will find this very very appealing. The creamy and sweet vanilla feel make this beer almost feel like Leche Nestle (Sweetened condensed milk) but ofcourse on top of a honey smoked ham. They have to make more of this beer as I am sure many will like :P.
