Buffalo by Brouwerij Van den Bossche is a 9% ABV Belgian yeast fermented Stout. In my search for The Belgian Chocolate beers like Art of Darkness, Thirteenth Hour Stout and Allagash Black, I found this really awesome Belgian Stout. It has Belgian bread, chocolate, caramel, cinnamon, plums, raisins and this really nice cider/apple flavor. Kinda strange as this is not expected of a Stout. Most stouts are coffee/chocolate and bitter. This is more sweetness and less bitterness. Taste more like apple pie with chocolate and coffee syrup than anything. The Belgian yeast really dominates on this one. Easy to drink as well :D. A delicious beer none the less for those that enjoy good Belgian Beers…:P
