Rogue Double Dead Guy Ale at 9% is a stronger version of the awesome Dead Guy ale. This is the second time I try this beer. As stated for the other Rogue ales, they always list the ingredients. Different variety of malts and hops than the original dead guy but really close but stronger as the pacman yeast does make the awesome difference in these fine beers. The flavors are of honey and caramel bread with peach, pine, grapefruit, vanilla and minor chocolate. You can tell this is strong as it hits you good if you drink to fast. It is the opposite of zombies…in this case if your too fast they will eat your brains (alcohol in the system). Then you will be the walking dead too. So remember like any other craft brew, it is meant to savor, not chug….
Made with 7 different ingredients: C-15,Rogue Micro Barley, Risk Malts, Crystal and Rogue Rebel Hops, water and PacMan Yeast. An awesome bready caramel brew which is the Double Dead guy ales. Twice as awesome as the original and stronger in both flavor and ABV (9%). This ale has flavors of sweet caramel, piney citrus, bread, citrus and vanilla. It would almost be close to a celebrator dopplebock except it is more hoppy than a bock is. Quite unique and awesome beer…LOL I dug around the local small liquor shops to find this. Amazing what you can find if you only look 😛
