This is Double Dread Imperial Read Ale at 8.6% ABV by Mad River Brewing. Damn good amber ale right off the bat. Caramel and minor chocolate malt flavors. Decent amount of hops gives a minor grassy bitterness. Minor citrus with honey and caramel overwhelming the palette. Almost bready like Fat Tire but a little bit the biscuit bread and more focused on the malty sweetness with also smokey bitterness. There is also some nice fruit flavors like peach, raspberry and some minor banana. Aftertaste is like I ate some peanuts. It is quite pleasing as it will probably go good with some bar peanuts. Amber ales is not something that is my most favorite of beer styles like my friend Jorge, but this Amber ales very fucking good. I am quite surprised. Double Dragons aside, this is one of those beers that you know will be very good. The best part is it covers up the extra booze feel. Also even though it is full bodied, it drinks very nicely :P. Amber Ale fans, get this one!!! 😀
