Lagunitas Brewing Wilco Tango Foxtrot (WTF) Ale is just that. Some crazy hybrid of a beer at 7.85% that tries to be an IPA without the major bitterness but more of a caramel nutty brown ale. It’s smell is like a Black IPA but the taste is quite interesting. The beer is in reference to fighting the good fight. The Lash that is given when people know something is wrong with the world we are living in as well as lash against the conglomerates that tell people what is good or how they should live their lives in terms of everything. Even telling them that good beer is purely in bitter bland yellow water. People will only choose what they like and in the end that’s okay. Just remember the codes when your out there (Bravo Echo Echo Romeo). So I will tell you a little about this beer. As I mentioned, this beer is somewhat like an IPA but not too bitter. It is full of piney, grapefruit and herbal hop flavor. However, there is some caramel, almond, very light non sweet maple, and toasted bread. There is not a lot of sweet but just a good sweet and bitter blend of flavors. If you are into a balance of not too bitter and not too sweet type of beer then pick this one up. Reminds me of something the blond chick from PSG would say….Oi!! WTF
