Temptation temptation… Comes in many forms… But how can one be strong enough to resist is the real question and for which things will we give in and for which will we fight against? Probably doesn’t matter. This is Seduction by Ommegang brewing. This is a Belgian Style porter ranging at 6.8% ABV. For those that like minor bitter dark chocolate bread, then here it is in liquid form. This beer is brewed with 5 dark barley malts. Chocolate from Belgian Chocolatier Calllebut and Cherries from Liefmans Cuvee Brut are copulated to bring out those chocolate and cherry flavors. It is Rich in flavor and easy to sip. The slight bitterness comes from the minor amount of hops added which give it a very low citrus taste. Like most Ommegang beers, there is delicious yeast sediment left over so you want to pour easily and take your time as well. Not a beer to finish in one sitting for sure. You might want to savor some later :D. This is very different from 3 Philosophers for sure. It’s like being passionate with one beer even though you already have another favorite dedicated beer. LOL just don’t get caught cheating with this one. We’re talking about beer here 😉
