LOL I don’t think I will probably get much from Santa this year. Yeah I have been really bad at being good…sometimes ;)… This is The Lost Abbey’s Sinners 09 or Blend 2009. It has been aged for 2 years and it is definitely ripe for the beer tasting. This brew is very elusive. Like even the website doesn’t have any info on the beer…how strange to lock up something…well evil but delicious as this… Honestly though, you could only get this brew for being in their beer club. Well I never was, but the way I got the beer…hehe well that’s not the point. The fact of the matter here is what it is like.Yes just the fact that I have a sinner’s bottle may seem like I am bad, but I am really good and this brew is good too for having a bad name. Where do I start? well let’s see here….this is Belgian Strong Ale brewed at 8% ABV. However after 2 years it has really seems to developed a lot of complex flavors that go into wine type flavors. Maybe a connoisseur of both wine and beer can tell you exactly what it taste like. I taste wine, grape and raisin, possibly cherry like flavor with a touch of sourness followed but some chocolate and Vanilla after taste and backbone of yeast so it is bready of sorts :P. Some oak and earth like notes are in there too. No carbonation so yeah, that means it strong. LOL maybe this is what it is like to be at a wine and cheese party but the cheese and bread are all in the bottle (Remember Arsenio in Chappelle Show: Damn ..that’s some good cheese..SMACK!! That’s what you get for not telling me the cheese was so good) LOL even in that of it self, that would be a sin to smack someone in the face for telling them this brew was so good. Too bad no one was around otherwise I would of punched someone for not telling me this brew was so good..lol…Anyways, this is really fancy shmancy stuff only someone that truly sins may enjoy or even the most innocent and holy too (me of course)…LOL but seriously though…not sure how many people out there like special beers but this one takes the cake and a must try for sure. Don’t forget it…for not trying it my be sinful…or trying it is sinful already. Regardless, only the almighty can judge you and no one else…
