Oro de calabaza or the Artisan Golden Ale by Jolly Pumpkin

Oro de calabaza or the Artisan Golden Ale by Jolly Pumpkin is a real golden treasure at 8.0% ABV. Made with spices, Belgian yeast, and a bit of hops. It is special as it is made in the Franco-Belgian tradition of Gold Ales. A Biere De Garde of sorts. Finding this piece may make a man rich…umm flavor wise of course. An interesting thing happened like Luciernaga. The bottle fizzed up and I had toopen it like champagne. The nice balance of sweet and bitterness is there including the JP sourness but more of a tart extent. Flavors of pepper, flowers, pineapple, citrus, apricots and apples fill the palette well on this ale. I would almost say it’s kinda like a champagne. Very delicious ale and a great piece of tesoro if you can find it 😉 LOL so if your lucky to open the Golden Jolly Pumpkin Ale chest at least save one of these for a friend :). Sharing is caring after all. This is actually my second time I try this beer. The previous one was actually aged more than this one. It actually has more sweeter flavors than the previous time I tried it. Maybe even the sweetest one of the JP beers with the least sourness.
