Fat Tire Amber Ale by New Belgium

ImageFat Tire Amber Ale by New Belgium brewing is the first New Belgian beers I have ever tried way back when I came back from college. My friend Jorge introduced me to this beer. It is one of his favorite ambers. This beer is has a good amount of flavors at 5.2% ABV. This tastes like biscuits, brown sugar, caramel and chocolate. Yeast and roasted malts in a light crimson body. There are some nice flowery hops for bitterness there. It is now more known than it was back in 2007. You will most likely find this one locally and on tap. Definitely a beer of choice if none others are around to satisfy the craft. Although ambers are not my ultimate favorite styles in beer, New Belgium fat tire is quite good and for the most part it is up there with some of the top 10 good ambers I have tried :).
