Dig…and keep Digging for the gold. Or in this case some nice herbal hop gold. Dig Pale Ale by New Belgium brewing is a Spring Seasonal that is buried in 5.6%ABV. There are flavors of malt and honey caramel here but it is only minor as the there seems to be alot of herbal and grassy hop action here. Not to the point where it is bitter but more of a nice peach and citrus piney taste.There is a minor notes of biscuit which is seen in some of New Belgium brews. Somewhat of a Rye taste like that of Rustic Rye IPA. Good flavor ready for spring and light on alcohol. A good pick up as I am sure most people would dig some light beer with flavor but not to an overwhelming point 🙂
